Critical CareCritical Care is the care of seriously ill patients in a special hospital unit; also called intensive care. Pets Emergency Hospital is specifically trained and staffed to handle critical patients 24 hours a day who may require oxygen, EKG monitoring, or other advanced monitoring and care. We have specific plans in place to handle patients transferred from your family veterinarian to Pets Emergency Hospital so they can be monitored and cared for overnight and then transferred back to your family veterinarian’s care it the morning. We have been recognized by VECCS (Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society) as a Level II facility.
